Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how SleepyPods (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit or buy from our store at sleepypods.pl (the “Services”). SleepyPods is responsible for your personal information. For any privacy matter, contact us only:

Our store runs on Shopify. If this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service conflict, this Privacy Policy governs how we collect, process and disclose your personal information. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

Personal information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Contact details – name, billing and shipping address, phone number and e-mail address.
  • Order and transaction information – products you view, add to your cart, buy, return or cancel, and your order history.
  • Payment information – processed directly by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Account information – if you create an account: login details, preferences and settings.
  • Communications – your e-mail address and the content of messages you send us, for example through the contact form.
  • Device and usage information – IP address, browser and device details, and how you browse and interact with the Services, collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically through the Services, and from our service providers and advertising partners who process it on our behalf.

How we use it

  • To process and deliver your orders, take payment, and handle returns and warranty claims.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support.
  • To send marketing e-mails if you have signed up (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each e-mail).
  • To show you ads for our products on other websites and social media, including based on your activity in our store.
  • To run analytics, keep the store secure and prevent fraud.
  • To comply with the law and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with companies that help us run the store, and only as needed:

  • Shopify – our e-commerce platform (hosting, checkout and store analytics);
  • payment processors – such as Shopify Payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay;
  • shipping carriers – to deliver your order;
  • Klaviyo – to send our e-mails, including marketing e-mails;
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram) – through the Meta pixel, to measure and show our advertising;
  • authorities, advisers or a buyer of our business, where required by law or in connection with a business transaction.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of advertising pixels (such as the Meta pixel) may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising under some US state laws. You can opt out as described below.

Our relationship with Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Shopify may also use personal information from your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify to provide certain advanced features; in those cases Shopify is responsible for that processing, including responding to your rights requests. To learn more, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. You can also exercise certain rights through the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Third-party websites and links

The Services may link to websites and platforms operated by third parties. We are not responsible for their privacy or security practices, so please review their policies. Information you share publicly, including on social media, may be visible to others.

Cookies, pixels and “Do Not Track”

We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed for the store and cart to work, and analytics and advertising technologies (including the Meta pixel and Klaviyo tracking). You can manage your preferences in our cookie banner, where available, or in your browser settings.

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

Your US state privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to:

  • know and access the personal information we hold about you, and get a portable copy;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete your personal information;
  • opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising;
  • appeal our decision on your request.

To exercise any of these rights, e-mail kontakt@sleepypods.pl with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof that they are authorized to act for you. We will respond within the time required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Reviewing and changing your information

You can review and request changes to the personal information we hold about you at any time by e-mailing kontakt@sleepypods.pl or using our contact form. You can unsubscribe from marketing e-mails using the link in any e-mail; we may still send you non-promotional messages about your orders.

Children

The Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep order information for as long as required by tax and accounting laws and until legal claims are time-barred, correspondence until your matter is closed (and then until claims are time-barred), and information processed based on your consent until you withdraw it.

International transfers

SleepyPods is a European business, and our service providers may process your information in countries other than the one you live in, including the European Union, Canada and the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how our store works. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. This version is effective as of September 25, 2026.
